TIP: Always handle the globe with a tissue or gloves as oils from the skin can cause the globe to fail or shatter and if not cleaned can reduce the life span of the globe. 

• To maximize the life of your globe, your light should be turned on regularly a few hours a week is fine.
• Inspect the ceramic block when replacing and make sure terminals are clean.
• Always have the light submerged in the pool before turning the light on.
• Once replacing the light globe / bulb reassemble the light and see if it floats most lights should.
• Test the light before hanging it back onto the mount.
